When Height Dynamics and 3M Australia teamed up to offer a brand new work ute as our Buy 3M, Win a Work Ute promo prize — we didn’t know it would become a force for good. But thanks to our prize winner, it has.
In our recently flood-ravaged state, this kind of good news story is much-needed. Kudos to all involved.
Meet J&P Richardson – Prize Winner
When J&P Richardson won our Buy 3M, Win a Work Ute prize, they wanted to give something back to the place where it all began. And it all began in 1958 in Goodna, on the outskirts of Ipswich City, Queensland.
One of Australia’s earliest electrical contracting and engineering firms, J&P Richardson now has branches in Ipswich, Toowoomba, Chincilla, Brisbane Northside, and both the Gold & Sunshine Coasts.
Their extensive local knowledge and project delivery experience is also backed by the latest innovations and digital technology of new parent company and global construction leader, Vinci Energies.
But J&P Richardson is still a Queensland local. That’s why, more than 60 years after they began, the team were delighted to donate their winning work ute to independent local charity, Goodna Street Life.

Meet Goodna Street Life – Prize Recipient
In less than a decade, Goodna Street Life has established an emergency shelter with counselling, drug and alcohol rehabilitation services — plus a community food bank and op-shop to provide and fundraise for Goodna’s homeless community.
And now — thanks to J&P Richardson — they have a brand new work ute to help them secure even more for Goodna’s most vulnerable.
