What Goes Up Must Come Down (Or Does It?)

Height Dynamics have been providing safety solutions to the height safety, confined space and rescue industry for years. We are dedicated to providing the right equipment and advice to get the thousands of people who work in high risk activities home safely everyday.

But what about the many other people who work on the ground and in close proximity to where this work is being done?

We are referring to the real possibility of injuries, and in some cases fatalities. These have been as a result of the impact of a dropped object, accidentally falling from height, at a workplace.

Safe Work Australia’s Key Work Health and Safety Statistics – 2015 reveal that fatalities caused by falling objects have almost doubled in recent years. This increased from 18 in 2009-10 to 30 in 2011-12. The 2014 Notified Fatalities Report* indicates that dropped tools became the second highest cause of work related fatalities in 2013.

The Python Safety tool drop prevention system by Capital Safety is the answer to minimising the risk of objects falling from height. The range uses innovative attachment and storage solutions. It allows for a variety of items used at height to be tethered.
