As most of us are now aware, the latest changes to the Harmonisation Legislation clearly attributes responsibility to the Person Conducting the Business or Undertaking (PCBU) to have a documented rescue plan to protect their workers which also must be tried, tested and rehearsed to ensure that it works.

Height Dynamics believe that the rescue component is equally if not more important than the basic Work Safely at Heights course.

Fallen Worker

Suspension trauma/intolerance can kill. A fallen, suspended worker may become unconscious within minutes and suffer asphyxiation or many other serious symptoms. It is critical that they are rescued immediately - rapid response to a fallen worker is required.

Legislation requires that personnel working at height, where there is any risk of a fall, have an emergency plan and a means of recovering or rescuing a fallen or suspended worker.

Height Dynamics Recovery of a Fallen Worker training is designed for all personnel required to work at height or enter a confined space wearing a harness to perform their duties. The training is based upon the use of simple and rapid pre-rigged rescue kits that do not require the rescuer to go over an edge in order to access the casualty.

Radio Tower

Tower and Pole Rescue is a Nationally Recognised course that has been designed primarily for those people required to work at height in the power and telecommunications industry. The training provides each participant with the necessary practical skills required to effectively and safely rescue a suspended or incapacitated worker from a structure such as a tower, pylon or pole.
